CROWDFUNDED Summit 2020 was a fantastic event jammed full of inspiring speakers and thought-provoking content (Kudos to Launchboom for organizing this spectacular event). However, the most exciting session of the conference was the pitch competition.
The stakes were high with over $150k in cash and prizes to-be given away to the winners, and the competition was fierce with over 200 applicants each coming to the table with game-changing product concepts. We were honored to sponsor the event and partner with fellow marketplace service providers to reward services-in-kind eligible to applicants from the pitch competition.

Stel Design’s “Promising Concept Awards”:
The Stel Design team’s award was to go to highly-promising concept that is was not yet ready to go to crowdfunding. Stel would create designs and visual renderings of their product concepts that can be used for presentation, pitches, and crowdfunding campaigns.

Design 1st’s “Lightning Strikes Here Award”
Design 1st would provide a PCR (Product Concept Research) package to the most promising mass market concept that also requires creation of unique sensors, electronics and mechanisms to meet ease of use goal, critical to successful products. Design 1st would provide both analysis and Intellectual property know how identifying key features, direct product cost to price, distribution strategy and manufacturing feasibility to guide the winner with their business and product development planning.

MistyWest’s “Most Intelligent Device Award”
MistyWest would award a $5,000 award for the “Most Intelligent Device” for Internet of Things hardware development services to a company that demonstrates technical complexity within an edge related and/or AI/ML device.

ANSYNC’s “Ready for Realization” Award”
ANSYNC would award an early-phase product realization consulting package whereby they would identify complex engineering problems and point to a viable prototype.
Ready for Realization Honorable Mention: Foldergo by George Cseh
Creativity Inc’s “Consumer Product Innovation Award”
This award would be given to a company building a consumer product that solves real problems for families globally. This award is for sonic branding, play pattern / UX design, and target costing services.
